Loosehead Prop,  Jean-Pierre Smith - Los Angeles Giltinis

Smith provided a hard matchup for Steven Longwell in the scrum throughout the match.  He scored a try, made seven carries for 38 meters and an offload.  Had a great grubber kick earning him a try assist.  In the breakdown he made 11 ruck arrivals.

Hooker, Dylan Fawsitt - Rugby United New York

Fawsitt's presence and his lineou throws righted the ship for New York, he directed the set-piece with precision once coming onto the pitch.  He scored a try from six carries for 67 meters, a line break, and three tackle breaks.  In the breakdown he had 10 ruck arrivals.

Tighthead Prop, Dino Waldren - NOLA Gold

Waldren continues to play with a high workrate and give NOLA a solid attacking platform in the scrum.  On attack he made six carries for 28 meters and made 27 ruck arrivals in the breakdown.

Left Lock, Nate Brakeley - Rugby United New York

Brakely continues to be a consistent workhorse for New York.  Against Seattle he made 12 carries for 63 meters, a line break, four tackle breaks, and an offload. On defense he made 10 tackles and in the breakdown he completed two breakdown steals and had 35 ruck arrivals.

Right Lock, Jackson Thiebes - New England Free Jacks

Thiebes physical presence in all aspects of the game was crushing against San Diego.  On attack he made five carries for 38 meters, a line break, and two tackle breaks. On defense he made 23 tackles and in the breakdown he completed a breakdown steal and had 21 ruck arrivals. In the aerial game he made three lineout takes and one lineout steal.

Blindside Flanker, Hanco Germishuys - Rugby United New York

Germishuys had a massive impact on securing the breakdown and providing clean ball for Andy Ellis to work with on his 20 ruck arrivals.  On attack he was efficient scoring a try, making four carries for 28 meters and two tackle breaks.  On defense he completed 10 tackes.

Openside Flanker, Andrew Guerra - NOLA Gold

Week in and week out Guerra has been a hungry player with a high work rate.  He did that again on Sunday versus Toronto with nine carries for 37 meters and a tackle break on attack. On defense he completed  10 tackles and had 38 ruck arrivals in the breakdown. 

No 8., Langilangi Haupeakui - Los Angeles Giltinis

Haupeakui has been working his way back into the American scene and against Old Glory he broke out.  On attack he scored a  try, made seven carries for 86 meters, a line break, a tackle break, and an offload.  On defense he completed 11 tackles and had 27 ruck arrivals in the breakdown.

Scrum-half, John Poland - New England Free Jacks

Poland had a great performance marshalling the Free Jacks forwards around the park on Saturday against San Diego.  Individually he scored two tries with one being a seven-pointer.  He made three carries for 45 meters, a line break, and two tackle breaks.  He aided in controlling the territory with five kicks for 127 meters.

Fly-half, Matt Giteau - Los Angeles Giltinis

Giteau has the vision to find the holes in the opposition defense on his feet, with a pass, or a kick.  Creating numerous scoring opportunities he also scored a try for himself while converting five others to give him a total of 15 points.  On attack he made seven carries for 77 meter, a tackle break, and two offloads.  With his foot he controlled the game with 11 kicks for 480 meters.

Left Wing,  Julian Dominguez - NOLA Gold

Dominguez was one of several Gold players that stayed patient and disciplined.  He got fed the ball and scored a try in the corner, then he made another to seal the victory.  On attack he made eight carries for 75 meters, a line break, and four tackle breaks.

Inside Center, Lachlan Kratz - NOLA Gold

Kratz debut onto the MLR scene in one game was nothing but amazing for a rookie. He was physical while he carried and around the breakdown.  On attack he made nine carries for 77 meters, three tackle breaks, and an offload. In the breakdown he had 10 ruck arrivals.

Outside Center, Dougie Fife - New England Free Jacks

Fife has been an electric playmaker for New England, and he kept that up against San Diego cutting through the defense like butter.  He scored two tries with one being a seven-pointer.  On attack he made nine carries for 99 meters, two line breaks, two tackle breaks, and an offload.  On defense he completed 11 tackles.

Right Wing, Ross Neal - Seattle Seawolves

Neal scored two of Seattle's three tries against New York.  With the vision he was fed the ball and found space or forced the space on his carries.  On attack he made eight carries for 154 meters, two line breaks, and seven tackle breaks.

Fullback, Glenn Bryce - Los Angeles Giltinis

Bryce continued to manage the Los Angeles back field making it impossible for the Old Glory kick chase to accomplish anything.  On attack he made 10 carries for 73 meters, a line break, and two tackle breaks.  He used his boot to exit making four kicks for 169 meters.
