GAME DAY PREVIEW: Pats Visit Brandon for 5th Meeting with Wheat Kings
The Regina Pats (41-7-6-1) hit the road Friday night for a meeting with their division rival Brandon Wheat Kings (27-22-6-2). Puck drop is 7:30 p.m. at the Westman Place. The Pats were last in action on Wednesday in Swift Current and blanked the Broncos 2-0. The Wheat Kings visited the Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday and dropped a 5-3 decision. Tonight is the fifth of eight meetings between the two clubs, the Pats are 3-0-0-1 in the first four games of the season series. The game can be heard on 620 CKRM with Bennett Dunlop Ford Pats Hockey beginning at 7:05 p.m.

Lead Up: Hollett and Henry Lead Pats Past Broncos Wednesday
Jordan Hollett made 28 saves for his first career shutout while Nick Henry provided the offence in the Pats 2-0 win in Swift Current over the Broncos on Wednesday night. The game was scoreless after the first but in the second, Nick Henry scored his 27th and 28th goals of the year to give the Pats the lead for good. Regina held off the Swift Current attack in the third and improved to 41-7-6-1 on the season. The Pats outshot the Broncos 45-28 in the win, the powerplay was one for five and the penalty kill three for three. Regina also improved to 4-0-0-0 against Swift Current in the season series.

The Pats are 3-0-0-1 against Brandon this season with three wins coming at the Brandt Centre and the shootout loss in Brandon. The Pats have scored 18 goals to the Wheat Kings 10 in the first four matchups. The Pats have outshot Brandon 158-121 in the four games, the powerplay has gone seven for 20 and the penalty kill 22 for 24. Sam Steel leads the Pats with two goals and seven assists for nine points in the season series. Brooks Hits Major Milestone
Regina Pats captain and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Adam Brooks played in his 300th career WHL game on Wednesday night in Swift Current. That is fourth most in Franchise history. In his 300 games, Brooks has scored 107 goals (37th all-time), recorded 192 assists (9th all-time) and has 299 points which is 17th most in Pats history. In his first two seasons with the Pats, Brooks had 23 points in 115 games. In the 185 games since, he has scored 99 goals and has 177 assists for 276 points. An average of 1.49 points per-game through his 18, 19 and 20 year-year old seasons. Should Brooks play the remaining 17 games on the Pats schedule, he would jump into third in all-time games played with 317. Frank Kovacs is the franchise leader with 352 games played.
