Former Mavs Dancer Named Dance DirectorFor Dallas Sidekicks Dancers

The Dallas Sidekicks have hired Janae Green as Dance Director for the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers.

Green was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where she first discovered her love for dance. She attended the University of North Texas, where she received the rookie of the year award and became the team's captain in her final three years at the school. She cheered and performed at bowl games, conference basketball championships, and the Carnival Cruise Line.

After college, Janae auditioned and became an NBA dancer for the Dallas Mavericks. She traveled around the country and internationally to several cities including Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Guangzhou for the NBA Global games, and performed with various artists including Carol G and Kid 'n Play. She's appeared in the team's annual dance team calendar and played an active role as a volunteer in the Dallas community. Janae completed four seasons as a Dallas Mavericks Dancer.
