Former Major Leaguer and Naturals Team up for Baseball Clinic
SPRINGDALE, Ark - Former New York Mets and Detroit Tigers catcher and current Royals Minor League Manager, Vance Wilson, will be hosting the inaugural Naturals Youth Academy Baseball Clinic. The clinic will be geared towards educating parents and coaches the right way to instruct youth baseball and softball players. The clinic is scheduled be held in the Sam's Community Room at Arvest Ballpark from 9 A.M until 1 P.M. on Saturday, February 9.
The clinic is open to parents and coaches of baseball and softball players ages 7-16. The clinic will cover the best way to teach players the key baseball fundamentals, including hitting, fielding and throwing. Attendees will be able to create their own curriculum by attending the sessions which fit their needs.
There is a form on the Naturals website, nwanaturals.com under the community menu, which interested participants can print, fill out, and then fax or mail in to register. The clinic will be held in the Sam's Club Community Room at Arvest Ballpark and will cost $20 per attendee or $30 per couple participating. The deadline to register is Monday, February 4, but participants are encouraged to sign up quickly as space is limited .
