
Force Set For MISL Champs

CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Cleveland Force will face off with the defending Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Champion and Eastern Division foe Baltimore Blast for the second time this season on Friday, November 28 at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University. The game is University Hospital Light Sabre Night and the first 2,500 fans will receive a light sabre courtesy of University Hospitals.
The Force comes into the match up with a record of 3-4 overall and 0-2 versus MISL Eastern Division opponents. Cleveland fell to the MISL Western Division Monterrey Fury 7-3 last Friday at the Convo. The Force currently is in third place in the Eastern Division 1.5 games behind Baltimore for second and 2.0 games behind the Philadelphia KiXX for first.
The Blast will play the St. Louis Steamers on Wednesday, November 26 at the Family Arena in St. Louis before playing Cleveland on Friday night. Baltimore currently has a record of 5-3 overall and 1-2 versus Eastern Division opponents.
Defender Hector Marinaro and forwards Lee Edgerton, Adauto Neto and Zoran Karic all scored one point in the first meeting on November 14. Edgerton, Marinaro and Neto all tallied goals while Karic added an assist.
The Blast was led by P.J. Wakefield and Carlos "Chile" Farias in the first meeting as both recorded three points. Wakefield recorded two goals and added an assist while Farias had one goal and two assists. Forwards Giuliano Celenza and Denison Cabral each contributed two points in the first game.
