Flying Tigers 2018 Season Kicks off April 5 with Publix Ticket Offer and Fireworks

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers 2018 season kicks off Thursday, April 5 at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium when they battle their north division rivals the Tampa Tarpons (Yankees). First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 pm and the gates to Publix Field will open at 5:00 pm.

Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or visiting LakelandFlyingTigers.com. Tickets can be purchased at the BayCare Box Office at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd. Advance sale box seat tickets are $9 and reserved seats are $6. Seniors 60 and over, children 12 and under and active military personnel receive a $1.00 discount. Day of game tickets are an additional $3. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $12 for box seats and $10 for reserved seats (in advance). Parking is FREE.

Fireworks Extravaganza following the game (weather permitting) sponsored by Corona and the Ledger Media Group.

Publix Super Markets Family Ticket Offer

Visit any Publix Super Markets store in Polk County, Plant City, Zephyrhills and Dade City for a special $5 voucher good for up to 4 tickets for Opening Day. Vouchers must be redeemed at the BayCare Box Office at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium for game tickets. Fans are encouraged to redeem vouchers in advance for best seat selections and to avoid long lines on game day.

Magnet Schedule Giveaway

The first 2,000 fans that enter the ballpark will receive a free 2018 Flying Tigers magnet schedule sponsored by the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center Lakeland.

Thirsty Thursday Sponsored by Miller Lite

Fans can enjoy 1/2 price select draft beer, wine & frozen cocktails during select Thursday home games. Alcohol sales will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at the conclusion of the 7th inning.

Community Programs

Local youth baseball and softball teams sponsored by the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida will be part of the opening day festivities and will be taking the field prior to the introduction of the Flying Tigers.
