Flying Squirrels and Baysox Postponed Monday

RICHMOND - Monday night's game between the Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Monday, July 22, beginning at 5:05 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets for Monday's postponement can be used for any 2019 home game with the exception of July 4.

The Flying Squirrels are 3-1 to begin the season after winning three of four games against the Hartford Yard Goats in the season's opening series, marking the best start in franchise history.

Richmond's opening homestand continues on Tuesday against the Bowie Baysox, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The first 1,500 fans 15 and older at The Diamond will receive a performance running shirt as part of Tuesday night's "Salute to Running" with Richmonders gearing up to run Monument Avenue this weekend. Tuesday is also the Flying Squirrels' first Reading Night of the season. Students who complete the "Go Nuts for Reading" program presented by M&T Bank will receive a free General Admission ticket to their school's designated game and get to participate in a pregame parade.
