Final NHL Central Scouting List Includes 6 Musketeers

Four defensemen and two Forwards of the Sioux City Musketeers were named to the final NHL Central Scouting List for the 2020 NHL Draft, NHL Central Scouting announced Wednesday.
2019-2020 Musketeers
146) Forward Joel Maatta: 2019-20 11G, 14A
184) Defenseman Christian Jimenez: 2019-20 7G, 21A

Christian Jimenez led all Musketeers' defensemen in points during the 2019-20 with seven goals and 11 assists for 28 points in 42 games. The Harvard commit was also the top USHL rookie point producer among blueliners and finished eighth in the league overall in scoring by defensemen.
"It's always an honor for our players and organization anytime they are recognized by Central Scouting. Credit to the players listed - they are all extremely deserving." Musketeers General Manager Andy Johnson Said. "All six players listed could potentially be in our lineup next season which is exciting for us as we continue to prep for the draft and roster construction for next season."
Fellow Rookie Joel Maatta had a tremendous year as a Musketeer finishing with 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in 43 games in his first season after joining the Musketeers from Jokerit in Finland.
"It's a credit to the identification process of our organization, Andy Johnson and his staff," Sioux City Head Coach Luke Strand said. "The day to day development of our individual players is a very exciting aspect to our staff. The time spent with our players on the ice, reviewing video and on off ice training is rewarding."
On March 25, the NHL announced the postponement of the 2020 NHL Draft which had been scheduled for June 26-27 at Belle Centre in Montreal. The location, timing and format will announced by the NHL once finalized.
Season tickets are available now for the 2020-2021 season at the Tyson Events Center starting at $385 for Green Section Seating, Gold Seating at $415, Tan Section Seating at $445, and the Blue Line Box for $480.
