Fighting Saints, Rainbo Oil Donate School Supplies to Dubuque & Western Dubuque School Districts

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Dubuque Fighting Saints teamed up with Rainbo Oil Company to begin the Clear the List Campaign this past winter. As a result of the first-ever Clear the List Campaign, over $1,500 worth of critically important school supplies were donated to the Dubuque Community and the Western Dubuque School Districts.

A combination of donations from Fighting Saints staff, Rainbo Oil staff, and members of the Tri-State community all contributed to the overall donation.

"Kwik Stop had a lot of fun partnering with the Dubuque Fighting Saints to collect school supplies for Dubuque Community and Western Dubuque School Districts," said Amy Davidshofer, Marketing Director at Rainbo Oil Company. "Our local teachers compiled quite a list of needs for their students and classrooms. We were happy to help collect and distribute what our community graciously provided. We look forward to seeing this event grow in the future."

"We are thankful to Rainbo Oil, Kwik Stop, and the Dubuque Fighting Saints for supporting our schools and helping fill our classrooms with supplies through the Clear the List campaign," said Michael Cyze, the Chief Communication Officer at the Dubuque Community School District. "These in-demand supplies directly benefit Dubuque's students and teachers, and they are a great show of community support for our work to provide an outstanding education to each and every student we serve."

"We were thrilled to partner with Rainbo Oil and the Saints on this effort," said Cris Tipple, the Director of Vocal Music at Western Dubuque High School. "The supplies received by the teachers and students were much appreciated and a great help in the final push of the school year. Thanks to everyone who donated!"

The Clear the List campaign will return during the 2022-23 Dubuque Fighting Saints season, alongside Rainbo Oil and all local Kwik Stop locations. Stay tuned for more details once the promotional schedule releases later in the summer.
