FC Dallas Celebrates the Class of 2020 with a Virtual Graduation for More Than 250 FCD High School Seniors

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas will celebrate the graduating class of 2020 with its first-ever Virtual Graduation presented by Chase on Wednesday, May 27 from 7-8PM CT. The ceremony will be streamed live online at FCDallas.com/ClassOf2020.

Graduates will have the full high school graduation experience with former MLS player and current ESPN host Taylor Twellman delivering the commencement address. FC Dallas Head Coach Luchi Gonzalez, FC Dallas President Dan Hunt will also speak. FC Dallas midfielder Tanner Tessmann will speak on behalf of the 2020 graduating class.

More than 250 high school seniors compete in the FCD Dallas Youth program, FC Dallas Academy, North Texas SC (Forward Gibran Rayo) and FC Dallas first team (Midfielder Tanner Tessmann). Some of them have been forced to miss high school graduation because of the coronavirus pandemic. The graduation ceremony will recognize members of the 2020 class for their accomplishments and achievements. Four scholarships will also be awarded during the ceremony: two $5,000 scholarships presented on behalf of Chase and two $5,000 scholarships presented on behalf of CoServ.
