FC Cincinnati to Face Bearcats in Preseason Friendly

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati will face the University of Cincinnati men's soccer team in a preseason friendly at Nippert Stadium at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. Fans will have the opportunity to get their first local glimpse of the Orange and Blue in Cincinnati before the club plays their first-ever MLS game in Cincinnati 12 days later.

The FCC-UC game will feature complimentary entry for fans, who will be able to gain an early familiarity with Major League Soccer's game day entry and security practices.

FC Cincinnati will open Gates 2, 4 and 8 for the event, and seating will be limited to The Bailey and Sections 101 through 109 on the East Concourse. Gates will open at 6 p.m. for fans and $5 parking will be available in the Corry Garage and Calhoun Garage for the event.

Fans will also get a first-hand experience with new MLS-required security protocols, including wanding and bag checks at the entry gates.

FC Cincinnati's debut MLS game will be at Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, March 2, at CenturyLink Field. The Orange and Blue will make its home debut as an MLS team at Nippert Stadium on Sunday, March 17, when the team hosts MLS Cup finalist Portland Timbers at 5 p.m. Season tickets, mini plans and individual-game tickets are on sale at fccincinnati.com/tickets or by calling 513-977-5425 (KICK).
