Farm Bureau Check Presentation Thursday
MIDLAND, Mich. - Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan will be presenting their Double Play Donation Check to Special Olympics on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. on the field at Dow Diamond.
Each season, Farm Bureau Insurance donates $25 to Special Olympics for every double play turned by the Great Lakes Loons. This year, Special Olympics will be receiving $3,000. Representatives and athletes from Special Olympics will be present to receive the check. There will be opportunities for photos and interviews after the presentation.

The Great Lakes Loons are the 2016 Midwest League Champions and have been a Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2007.
