Toledo Mud Hens News Release

Did you know men have a 33 percent higher rate of being diagnosed with prostate cancer than women have of being diagnosed with breast cancer? To raise awareness and try to help save lives, the Mud Hens will be hosting Ed Randall's Fans for the Cure Awareness Night, on Sunday, June 21.

Ed Randall is a prostate cancer survivor and founded the Fans for the Cure organization. Volunteers will be at the ballpark to encourage men over 40 to consult with their doctors and schedule a prostate exam, because early detection saves lives. There will also be a team autographed bat raffle for those stopping by the information table on the main concourse at Section 112 to learn more.

On June 21, the Mud Hens take on Norfolk at 6 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. For tickets, call 419-725-4367, or order online.
