OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals open their second-to-last home stand of the 2009 season on Wednesday, August 5th with a 7:05 p.m. game at Rosenblatt Stadium. The eight-game home stand - a pair of four-game series vs. the Las Vegas 51s and the Reno Aces - has these exciting promotions are on tap:

Wednesday, August 5, 7:05 p.m.: It's Subway Kids Eat Free: the 1st 100 kids 12-and-under receive a free personal Subway pizza and all kids after that get a free hot dog and Coke. Subway Kids Club members get a FREE ticket to the game! The night is also presented by Star 104.5, KXVO-CW 15 and The West O, The Midtown O and the Sarpy Sun Newspapers.

Thursday, August 6, 7:05 p.m.: Start the weekend early with Thirsty Thursday! Enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, presented by 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and the City Weekly.

Friday, August 7, 7:05 p.m.: Aflac presents the 4th annual Strike Out Breast Cancer Night. The Royals will wear pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off to fans. The Royals' autographed pink hats will be available for purchase at the Royal Treasures gift shop, with all of the proceeds from the jersey auction and hat sales going to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Following the game, enjoy Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks! Plus, it's U.S. Cellular Dreams Come True Night: a lucky fan who signed up at a U.S. Cellular location will be on the field for batting practice, take a tour of the historic stadium, throw out a ceremonial first pitch and start the fireworks! The night is also presented by Twister 93.3, KETV and the City Weekly.

Saturday, August 8, 7:05 p.m.: It's Faith and Family Night with Big Daddy Weave performing in concert, following post-game fireworks, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Cox Communications and KGBI 100.7 FM! It's also Library Night: kids who completed the Omaha Public Library's summer reading program received a FREE ticket to the game. The night is also presented by The Reader.

Sunday, August 9, 6:05 p.m.: It's a special 6:05 p.m. start for Back-to-School Night: the 1st 1,000 kids, 12-and-under get a metal lunchbox courtesy of ConAgra Foods! It's also Walnut Ridge Family Dental Autograph Sunday: fans get FREE autograph cards to get autographs from Omaha Royals players from 5:45-6:15 p.m. Plus, it's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus after the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey! Subway Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the game! Any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item gets a FREE General Admission ticket, donations going to the Open Door Mission. Tuesday, August 11, 7:05 p.m.: It's Valpak 2-Buck 2uesday: General Admission tickets are only 2 bucks! Plus, bring a Kraft Singles cheese wrapper for a buy-one-get-one-free deal good on any level of Royals tickets. It's also the second of three diversity nights. The night is also presented by CD 105.9 and the Reader.

Wednesday, August 12, 12:05 p.m.: Play hooky from work to enjoy an afternoon of baseball and ½-price Omaha Steaks burgers! It's also Parents Club Day: Moms' and Dads' clubs in the metro area get special ticket pricing for this day game! The day is presented by 1110 KFAB.
