FC Dallas (16-7-9, 57 points) welcomes Sporting Kansas City (16-8-8, 56 points) on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Toyota Stadium. This is the second game between the two clubs this season. Dallas defeated Kansas City 3-2 at Children's Mercy Park on July 28, 2018.

National Soccer Hall of Fame Weekend
It's a busy weekend in Frisco starting with the NASL 50th Anniversary Reunion Squad Toyota Stadium Tour on Friday at 2 PM. On Saturday, The NSHOF Induction Ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, with red carpet arrivals starting at 3PM. The ceremony will be streamed live on NationalSoccerHoF.com, Facebook and Twitter.
After the ceremony, the Revivalists will open the concert at Toyota Stadium at 7:30 PM followed by the headliners, Imagine Dragons. The Hall of Fame Weekend concludes on Sunday with FC Dallas facing Sporting Kansas City at 4 PM, followed by the NASL 50th Anniversary Match between NASL alumni.

Top of the Table Clash
Sunday's match between Dallas and Kansas City sees the two top seeds in the Western Conference battling it out for pole-position heading into playoffs. With just two games remaining in the regular season- and Los Angeles FC sitting on 56 points, only behind Kansas City on goal difference- this match is crucial for both teams in their bid to seal a first round bye in playoffs by securing a top-two conference finish.
Franchise Point Record in Sight
Having obtained 57 points through 32 games, FC Dallas has two more tries to better its franchise record of 60 points- achieved in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
National Teamers Return
FC Dallas welcomes back Reggie Cannon, Carlos Gruezo and Maynor Figueroa following their international exploits with their respective national teams. Reggie Cannon received his first USMNT cap versus Peru on Tuesday evening.
About Kansas City
Sporting Kansas City bounced back from three games without a win by defeating Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1 on Wednesday night. The three points lifted them back into second-place in the West, leapfrogging LAFC on superior goal differential. SKC has played 12 MLS games at Toyota Stadium since it opened in 2005, managing a record of 2-6-4.
