(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos have signed the following players:
- American defensive back Dakari Monroe
- American running back Lexington Thomas
Monroe attended San Jose State University from 2015 to 2018. In 45 games (22 starts), he recorded 99 total tackles (62 solo), seven interceptions and one fumble recovery and 25 passes defended. In 2018, Monroe led the Mountain West Conference in interceptions with four and was named to the All-Mountain West First-Team. In 2019, he attended training camp for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.
Thomas attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas from 2015 to 2018. In 44 games (20 starts), he recorded 3,381 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns on 587 carries. He also caught 41 passes for 451 yards and two touchdowns. In 2017, Thomas was named to the All Mountain West First-Team after rushing for 1,336 yards and 17 touchdowns on 211 carries.
