(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have released non-import defensive lineman Justin Cooper, the club announced today.
The Red Deer native played in 53 regular season games, largely on special teams, during three seasons with the Esks.
Edmonton ¬â¢s third round selection (23rd overall) in the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft , Cooper scored his first CFL career touchdown when he recovered a fumble in the 2008 CFL East Final at Montreal.
