Eskimos Host Inaugural Community Combine this Saturday

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos invite local media to the inaugural Edmonton Eskimos Community Combine, presented by Servus Credit Union, this Saturday, March 7, in the Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre Field House from 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
One hundred fans fans will test their abilities in combine drills to see how they rank against current and former Esks who've set records at the official CFL Combine, such as Shai Ross's 11'5.5" broad jump at the 2019 combine.
Community combine participants will be led through the drills and taught professional form by current Eskimos:
- offensive lineman Kwabena Asare
- fullback Peter Cender
- offensive lineman Kyle Saxelid
- defensive lineman Almondo Sewell
Drills include:
- max push-ups (1 min.)
- pro shuttle
- standing broad jump
- vertical jump
- 40-yard dash
