----- Tonight, the SeaWolves return home and look to snap a two-game slide as they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) in the opening game of a four game series at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves jumped ahead of Trenton 2-0, only to allow the Thunder to score eight unanswered runs as they sent Erie to its second straight loss...RHP Jon Link takes the mound for Erie making his second start since the Tigers signed him as a free agent. Link took a no-decision in his last start at Binghamton on June 22. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with no walks and five strikeouts in eight innings. Link left with a four run lead, however, the bullpen could not hold on as Erie lost the game 6-5 in 10 innings...LHP Jack Snodgrass takes the mound for Richmond making his 14th start and first against Erie. Snodgrass is fifth in the league with a 2.82 ERA. He snapped a two-game losing streak in his last start against Reading on June 22. In the game, Snodgrass allowed five runs on six hits with no walks and six strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work...The SeaWolves will take on their first Western Division opponent since playing in Richmond May 31-June 2. Erie was in a stretch of 21 games against Eastern Division opponents that ended with yesterdays loss. Erie will not see another opponent from the East until a series at Reading at the end of July...Zach Maggard has been placed on the DL and C Luis Sanz has been transferred to Erie from Lakeland.
