Of Special Note:
The Eskimos released pair of veterans today; lineman Elfrid Payton (DL-Import) and linebacker Sheldon Benoit. The roster now stands at 54, including 5 CIAU draft selections.
Tomorrow, the Esks break camp at Concordia and move operations back to Commonwealth Stadium.
"There's great competition at middle linebacker...it's going to come down to the wire" â Head Coach Tom Higgins on the camp long battle between A.J. Gass, Kelvin Powell and Antonio Wilson.
