Edmonton, Ab. (June 1, 2012) - FC Edmonton are back at Clarke Stadium for the second of three straight home games and after drawing with the San Antonio Scorpions last Sunday, the Eddies are looking for all three points against the winless Atlanta Silverbacks (K.O. 2 p.m.)

The clubs have faced each other once already this season. FC Edmonton travelled to Atlanta on May 12 and came away with a 2-0 victory, their second win of the season.

Michael Cox scored the game's first goal with Ilja van Leerdam assisting on the play and van Leerdam sealed the victory with a goal of his own in the 88th minute. Goal keeper John Smits also recorded his first ever professional clean sheet.

The Silverbacks are coming off a 5-1 loss against the MLS Seattle Sounders in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. They have yet to win in league play but have five draws out of nine games so far.

"We have to play well," said May's NASL Player of the Month, Shaun Saiko. "We know that Atlanta is looking for its first win so it's going to be difficult but we're confident that if we play our game, we'll be alright."

The crowds at Clarke Stadium have created quite the atmosphere thus far this season and the club's expecting the biggest one yet on Sunday.

"It's another game at home in front of the crowd so hopefully we can get just as many people out as we did last time and we can give them a good showing again," Saiko said.

Standing room tickets are still available at the gate.
