Earthquakes Acquire SuperDraft Selection in Trade with NYRB

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has acquired a second-round selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft (No. 46 overall) from the New York Red Bulls in exchange for the first-overall selection in the 2018 MLS Waiver Draft.
The Earthquakes now possess five selections in next month's MLS SuperDraft, including four of the top-50 and the No. 2 overall pick, their highest since selecting first overall in 2001.
The Waiver Draft includes players who are not eligible for Re-Entry or Free Agency and either A) are out of contract and have not been issued a Genuine Offer or B) have not had their 2019 options exercised.
