
Dynamo playoff tickets go on sale

HOUSTON, TX (Wednesday, October 15, 2008) - Tickets for the Houston Dynamo's opening playoff game of the 2008 MLS Cup playoffs are now on sale, it was announced today.
Tickets for the second leg of the Western Conference semifinal, which the Dynamo will host on November 9 at Robertson Stadium at a time to be announced, are available online via HoustonDynamo.com or by calling the Dynamo at (713) 276-7500 for group sales. Regular season prices apply. Season ticket holders already have tickets to the match as part of their season ticket package.
The Dynamo, two-time defending MLS Cup champions, are currently in first place in the Western Conference and have clinched home-field advantage in the playoffs' opening round, which is contested over two legs on an aggregate-goals basis. Their opponent is yet to be determined. Houston is unbeaten (4-0) in playoff games at Robertson Stadium over the past two seasons, and both playoff games in Houston last year drew crowds of more than 30,000. Currently in first place in the Western Conference, the Houston Dynamo (11-5-11, 44 points) host the San Jose Earthquakes October 15 and the Los Angeles Galaxy October 18 as part of Dynamo Hurricane Relief Week.
