Duluth Huskies Re-Sign Two Returning Huskies

Duluth, Minn -- The Duluth Huskies Baseball Club is very happy to announce the re-signing of Carlos Moseley, an infielder from Cumberland University and Tim Holdgrafer, a right-hand pitcher from San Diego, California. These men are special in the sense that they are veterans of the Northwoods League having already played a season with the Duluth Huskies.

Moseley's baseball journey began in Elk Grove, California at the ripe age of 5 years old. From there Mosley has never stopped bringing his positive attitude and passion through his 17 years of baseball experience. This persistence led to a solid high school career where he played four years for Elk Grove High School. Over his career, he had a batting percentage of .286 with 71 RBI's.

Mosley's love for the game and need to compete drove him to play at the next level where he excelled in the California Collegiate Baseball League beginning at San Joaquin Delta Community College. There he boasted a batting average of .364 and powered through ending second in the league with 46 RBI 's. This powered him into the following season where he transferred to Cumberland College in California. There he continued to improve and show his ability. After his showing at Cumberland, Moseley traveled to the Northwoods in the summer of 2018 to showcase for the Duluth Huskies Baseball Club. Moseley had a solid summer with the Huskies along with being apart of leading the Huskies to the Summer Collegiate World Series against the Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders. After growing as a player under Coach Pederson, Moseley is excited to learn from the new coaches and he is ready to get back to work and put on a show for the Huskies' faithful.

Tim Holdgrafer, a 6'1" Senior RHP from California State Polytechnic College, Pomona is ready for his second season with the Huskies. With already having a very successful senior season at Cal Poly, Pomona by making team history with registering the seventh no-hitter ever by a Broncos pitcher.

In that same game, Holdgrafer threw 120 pitches while only giving up 4 walks and striking out 11. This resulted in him moving into a perfect 4-0 record to continue his very successful senior season. His leadership qualities continue in not only being the seventh in program history for no-hitters but also only second to achieve it in a 9-inning baseball game. He also has great overall stats at Cal Poly, Pomona with 52 innings pitched, 5-2 record, and a 3.46 ERA. As for the start of his Huskies career, he had a 1.79 ERA in 17 games in the 2018 season.

Look for these two returners to be showcasing themselves along with their schools when the Duluth Huskies take on the Eau Claire Express at Wade Stadium on Sunday, June 2nd.
