Dayton Dragons News Release

DAYTON, OH - Single-game tickets for the 2011 Dayton Dragons baseball season will go on sale Saturday, March 12th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Dragons Box Office located next to the main entry gates at Fifth Third Field.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase individual game tickets to Dragons home games. The Dragons have sold every stadium seat for each game in the club's 11-year history (774 consecutive sell-outs). Fans can become part of the Dragons efforts at breaking the all-time sports record for consecutive sell-outs of 814 held by the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association.

The box office will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Normal box office hours will be Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office will open at 12:00 noon on weekend days that the Dragons are home (closed on Saturdays and Sundays when the team is on the road).

In addition to the Dragons Box Office, tickets can also be purchased on the Dragons website, daytondragons.com, by phone at (937) 228-2287, via any Ticketmaster outlet inside Miami Valley Kroger stores, or Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at (937) 228-2323.

The Dragons 2011 roster is expected to include some of the top prospects ever to pass through Dayton and eventually add to the total of 46 Dragons players who have reached the Major Leagues. Shortstop Billy Hamilton is expected to play for the Dragons this season, as well as outfielder Yorman Rodriguez and starting pitcher Kyle Lotzkar. These players give the Dragons three top prospects among the Cincinnati Reds top 10 prospects as rated by Baseball America.

The Dragons' mascots, Heater, Gem, and Wink, all return for the 2011 season, and once again, the Dragons have put together an exciting lineup of entertainment acts focusing on family fun.
