Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Peoria Chiefs (affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) in the last game of a three-game series.

Last Game : Peoria defeated Dayton 3-0 on Friday to even the series at one win apiece.

Individual Notes

- Jesse Winker is batting .406 over his last nine games with a home run, four doubles and a triple, raising his average from 139 to .265.

- Zach Vincej has hit safely in six straight games, batting .318 over the hitting streak to raise his average from .180 to .222.

- Jeff Gelalich is batting .341 over his last 13 games to raise his average from .120 to .261.

- Joe Hudson has hit safely in five straight games, batting .375. On the year, Hudson has struck out two times in 55 plate appearances.

The Dragons need a win tonight to complete their first series victory of the 2013 season. They have split one series and lost five. The Dragons were shutout last night for the fourth time this season but the first time since the sixth game of the season on April 9. Dayton pitchers rank first in strikeouts with 16 more than any other team. They have also issued the second most walks in the league.
