Director Of Corporate Sales Todd Merton Accepts Position With Texas Stars

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that Director of Corporate Sales and Service Todd Merton has accepted the Senior Director of Corporate Sales position with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
Merton, 35, spent four years with the Stingrays and will depart for Texas in early May. Prior to joining the Stingrays, the Orangeville, ON native worked for Under Armour Canada as a National Sales Manager. Merton also spent three years with the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball in their Sales and Marketing Department.
"I want to thank the Stingrays ownership, colleagues, coaching staff and fans for four great years here. The Stingrays organization will always hold a special place with me and I wish them nothing but the best of luck," said Merton. "I am excited to start with the Texas Stars and a new chapter in my career."
