Amarillo Dillas News Release

Today the Amarillo Dillas announced the signing 9 Free Agents to their roster including Jeremy King (RHP), Josh Ashton (INF), Nick Shay (INF), Michael Mallory (OF), Trevor Caughey (LHP), Carnell Parker (OF), Jonathan Marshall (C), Brad Kirsch (RHP), and Drew Jackson (LHP).

Professional baseball is a world wind of trades, releases, and signings. With the start of their 2007 campaign just 43 days away, the Amarillo Dillas brain trust has been in overdrive. Independent baseball is unique in that the Field Manager not only manages the team on the field but they wear the hat of Director, Player Development and Procurement, as well. For the Dillas this responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of Buddy Biancalana. Biancalana returns to Amarillo for his second season as the Dillas' Skipper and despite not enjoying much success on the field in 2006 with a 39-50 record, Biancalana is confident that these players will contribute immensely producing a much different result in 2007.
