Diegues Earns All MASL Honorable Mention for Record-Tying Game

LAKELAND, Fla. - Florida Tropics SC forward Ricardo Diegues earned Week 15 MASL All-Team honorable mention honors following his four-goal outburst Sunday against the St. Louis Ambush.
Digues scored four goals, tying a record he co-holds with former teammate Mauricia Salles, in the 7-6 defeat. Both Diegues and Salles had four goals each last February in a 12-9 road win in Harrisburg.
For the season, Diegues has taken over the team lead in goals with 17 in just 13 games played, overtaking Guilherme who has 15 goals in 10 games and has not played since mid January.
Florida will be in action twice this weekend, on the road Friday against the Orlando Seawolves in a 7:35 p.m. start, and home Sunday against the Kansas City Comets in a 3:05 p.m. kickoff against the Kansas City Comets. For tickets, call 863-240-0101.
