
Desautels signs with Rampage

Jevon Desautels, the Spokane Chiefs captain in the 2004-05 season, has signed a contract for the remainder of the American Hockey League's season with the San Antonio Rampage. The Rampage are an affiliate of the Florida Panthers.
Desautels just finished his fifth season in a Spokane jersey; one that saw him set career highs in games played (70), goals (15), points (28) and penalty minutes (185). The Alida, SK native played in 301 career games in Spokane, fifth in franchise history, and finished his career with 734 penalty minutes, third all-time.
Following the season, Desautels was named the Chiefs Humanitarian of the Year for his commitment to the Spokane community.
The Rampage have 10 games remaining in the regular season, including this Saturday at home versus the Grand Rapids Griffins.
