Daytona Tortugas News Release
Hope everybody is doing well in Cubsland. Things are going great for us as we have bounced back from a slow start and are riding high. Hope everybody can make it to the park tonight as the Cubs take on Jupiter in game two of the three game set on Belly-Buster Monday presented by Papa John's and 95.7 the HOG. Tomorrow's game is a morning game at 10:35 as it is Education Day, remember fans that the gate is still open for everybody else as well.
Cubs pitcher Sean Gallagher has been solid this season with an ERA of 0.47 and 22 strikeouts in his three games pitched. Catcher Jake Fox has been hot as well as he posts a .345 average with three homeruns and eight RBI. The Cubs as a team have batted .309 during the past five games and hitting has meant wins, Daytona is 4-1 during that stretch.
On Wednesday we leave for a six game road trip, but all six games will be in the same stadium as Palm Beach and Jupiter play at the same location. Remember to follow us on the road at 1380 AM or www.wele1380.com as we broadcast all of the action live. Don't forget that the Sonny's Picnic Porch is filling up, so book your group picnic of 20 or more people as soon as you can.
