
Dave Matthews Band to Perform, as scheduled, this Monday at Raley Field

West Sacramento, Calif. - The Dave Matthews Band show set for this Monday, August 25th at Raley Field will go on, as scheduled, tour officials announced today. The band and its fans were rocked on Tuesday with news that saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who has not been touring with the band due to injuries he sustained in an ATV accident on June 30, passed away due to complications stemming from the accident. The 46-year old Moore was one of the founding members of the band. Jeff Coffin, saxophonist for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, has been sitting in for Moore since the June 30 accident and will continue for the remainder of the tour.
Tickets are still available for this show at the Raley Field Ticket Office and Ticketmaster.com. The show, which includes opening act Robert Earl Keen, will begin at 7:00 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. to accommodate those who wish to avoid crowds and arrive early.
