Daniels Named to OHL All-Rookie Team

Spirit Goalie Ryan Daniels was recently named to the 2005-2006 Ontario Hockey League All-Rookie Team for his play over the last season. In 26 games played, Daniels stopped 842 of 947 shots on goal for an .889 save percentage.

The Pickering, ON native was this past October's OHL Goaltender of the Month and also played at the CHL Top Prospects game in January of 2006

Selection for the All-Rookie team is voted on by the general managers of the league, although a general manager cannot pick a player from his own team. Players receive five points for a first place vote, three points for a second place vote and one point for a third place vote.

Ryan Daniels was selected to the OHL All-Rookie Team with 52 votes.
