Dan Bogan Joins the Coaching Staff

January 6, 2021 - North American Hockey League (NAHL) - Maine Nordiques News Release

Dan Bogdan has joined the Maine Nordiques Coaching Staff as Assistant Coach. Dan Bogdan is a great mid-season addition, that will provide support throughout the organization including, but not limited to, player development and recruitment.

"I am really excited to join the Maine Nordiques and help contribute towards the success of The Maine Nordiques Organization." - Coach Bogdan

Dan spent the past two years as Associate Head Coach for the Kenai Black Bears in the North American Hockey League. During his time in Kenai, he helped set program records for lowest win streak, most home wins, and were on pace to set franchise records and total wins.

Before Kenai, Coach Bogdan was the Assistant Coach fo the Northfield Mount Hermon Varsity Program. While there, the program earned the large school tournament. Before coaching, Coach Bogdan played as a forward at Framingham State earning his degree in Business Administration.

Maine Nordique's Head Coach, Nolan Howe, went onto say:

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan going back many years. He is someone who I respect and trust tremendously, not only as a great hockey mind and coach, but as a person as well. His experience and track record of excellence will be an enormous boost to our organization. Coach Bogdan's ability to teach the game and develop players, along with his extensive network and positive reputation, within our league and the hockey world, is an outstanding addition. Our staff, consisting of Associate Head Coach Matt Pinchevsky and General Manager Eric Soltys and Myself, and now with Coach Dan as well,  is the foundation that we know will continue to provide our players with the very best support in their development and advancement."
