D-Braves Expand 2018 Season Promotion Schedule
DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves announced on Thursday that the team is adding five promotions to its already jam-packed summer of giveaways and promotions at Legion Field.
First, on June 21, the Braves will crack open the vault with baseball card set giveaways from either the D-Braves 1993 or 1994 seasons to the first 250 fans.
On July 13, the Braves will flashback to 2017 when the pinnacle of the Braves minor league system was the Gwinnett Braves, who are now called the Gwinnett Stripers. The D-Braves will honor the G-Braves with a cap giveaway to the first 500 fans.
On July 18, the Braves will host "Perfect Family Night", where fans can purchase four blue reserved seats, four hot dogs and four souvenir sodas for $30. The D-Braves recognize that there are no perfect families, but there are perfect family deals.
On July 20, the D-Braves will host "Baseball's Smallest Videoboard Night." For this night only, Legion Field will be decorated with its first videoboard in team history. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive binoculars presented by First Citizens Bank. Throughout the evening, fans will compete in various contests and one lucky fan will have a chance to take the videoboard home with them. The dimensions of the videoboard are still being finalized.
Finally, on August 6 the D-Braves will host a "Community Birthday Party", presented by Leblue Water, in which fans born in 1993 will receive free admission to the game with proper identification.
The Braves will have their opening homestand of the 2018 season against the Pulaski Yankees from June 19-21 with each game beginning at 7 p.m. To read more about the Braves full listing of promotions or to purchase tickets, fans can visit dbraves.com.
