Coyne Schofield, Kessel Lead Star-Packed Lineups for Riveters at Whitecaps
October 5, 2018 - National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) News Release
Four members of Team USA that won gold at the Olympics in February will be in the lineup this weekend when the Riveters meet the Whitecaps at TRIA Rink for a pair of games.
In Minnesota's historic first game in the NWHL on Saturday, Olympians Kendall Coyne Schofield, Hannah Brandt and Lee Stecklein are expected to be in the lineup for the Whitecaps, while Amanda Kessel makes her return to the defending Isobel Cup champion Riveters.
Individual game tickets for Saturday and Sunday are SOLD OUT, with a few remaining season ticket packages available. Fans who don't want to miss out on this weekend's action in Saint Paul - along with the Whitecaps' six other home games - should order their season tickets now at NWHL.zone/tickets.
In addition, the game will be streamed on Twitter, with Minnesota Wild radio broadcaster Kevin Falness kindly stepping in for one game on play-by-play, and Alexis Pearson as the color commentator. Sunday's game is available live on YouTube, with Kelly Schultz and Pearson on the call.
