Cougars to Select 3rd in 2005 WHL Bantam Draft

Calgary, AB - The Bantam Draft Lottery was held this morning at the Western Hockey League Office in Calgary, Alberta and a Regina ball was drawn, giving the Pats the first overall pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft. The second selection will be by the Swift Current Broncos, the third selection will be by the Prince George Cougars and the fourth overall selection will be by the Spokane Chiefs. The 2005 WHL Bantam Draft will be held in Calgary, May 5th, 2005.

Following is the order of selection for the 1st round of the Bantam Draft:

2) Swift Current Broncos
3) Prince George Cougars
4) Spokane Chiefs
5) Moose Jaw Warriors
6) Kamloops Blazers
7) Tri-City Americans
8) Prince Albert Raiders
9) Vancouver Giants
10) Everett Silvertips
11) Portland Winter Hawks
12) Red Deer Rebels
13) Calgary Hitmen
14) Saskatoon Blades
15) Lethbridge Hurricanes
16) Seattle Thunderbirds
