
Colorado Avalanche Recalls Forward A.J. Greer from San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche today announced that forward A.J. Greer has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Rampage have recalled forward Michael Joly from the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).
Greer has tallied 10 points (6g/4a)? in 16 appearances with San Antonio this season, while recording one assist in six games with the Avalanche. Originally drafted by the Avalanche in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft (39th overall), Greer has registered two assists in 11 overall NHL games with Colorado. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward will join former Rampage players Andrei Mironov, Gabriel Bourque, J.T. Compher, Tyson Jost, Vladislav Kamenev, Mikko Rantanen, Anton Lindholm, and Nikita Zadorov in Colorado.
Joly leads the Eagles this season with 38 points (24g/14a) in 27 contests, including a league-leading 24 goals. He appeared in two contests with the Rampage earlier this season on Nov. 25 and Dec. 21. The 5-foot-11, 172-pound forward spent the 2016-17 campaign between the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) and Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL), combining for 52 points (29g/23a) in 57 games.
San Antonio breaks in 2018 with a contest against the Bakersfield Condors on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
