Chicago Sky Waive Petra HoleÅ¡ínská

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky have waived rookie guard Petra HoleÅ¡ínská, the team announced today.

HoleÅ¡ínská went undrafted in the 2021 WNBA Draft and was signed to a training camp contract by the Sky on April 17, 2021.

A native of Vracov, Czech Republic, HoleÅ¡ínská joined the University of North Carolina Tar Heels for the 2020-21 season as a graduate transfer with one year remaining of eligibility. The 5-10 guard spent her previous four years competing with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she averaged 10.5 points and 28.2 minutes per game.

The Sky depart today to Indiana for the team's first road trip ahead of the upcoming 2021 WNBA season, prior to facing the Fever for the first of two preseason games against the Fever, tipping off tomorrow at 12:00p CT.
