Charbonneau to Return as Dock Spiders Manager in 2019

FOND DU LAC, WI - The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are excited to announce that Zac Charbonneau will be returning for his third season as field manager in 2019. Charbonneau led the Dock Spiders last season to a 39-31 record and the first Northwoods League championship in franchise history.

"We are thrilled to have Zac back with the team for next season. Zac has done a tremendous job recruiting high quality talent, and his leadership during our championship run this past season was outstanding," said Ryan Moede, Dock Spiders General Manager. "I know he's anxious to get back on the field and defend our title in 2019!"

Charbonneau is currently the head baseball coach at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Prior to that, Charbonneau was an assistant coach at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.

"It is an honor to be able to return to Fond du Lac for another summer as our first two summers were more than just memorable. I truly enjoy my experiences at Marian University's Herr-Baker and in the community. Being a part of the Dock Spiders organization feels like more than just a coaching job." said Charbonneau. "I want to thank Ryan Moede and his staff again for this opportunity and all the hard work they do to make this team go. Every season they find a way to improve the fan and player experience here. We are again working diligently to sign players that will be great examples on and off the field this summer. "

The Dock Spiders will begin the 2019 season against the Kalamazoo Growlers in Kalamazoo on Tuesday, May 28. Fond du Lac's home opener is Saturday, June 1 at 6:35pm against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
