Chanclas-Raspas Announce Two-Game Showdown

San Antonio - The Flying Chanclas de San Antonio and the Corpus Christi Raspas have announced a special two-part "Copa de la Diversion" series, beginning Sunday, August 26 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, TX.
The teams will have a Copa-themed rematch on Sunday, September 2 in the Alamo City. Both games will have a 6:05 PM first pitch.
"The San Antonio/Corpus Christi rivalry has been filled with many memorable moments over the years," said Missions General Manager Dave Gasaway. "We feel like this fun series is not only a great way to celebrate the rivalry in its final days in the Texas League, but to also celebrate the "Copa de la Diversion" initiative."
San Antonio is 6-2 this season as the Flying Chanclas.
San Antonio will be in Corpus Christi from August 25-27 before the clubs will close out the regular season at Wolff Stadium from September 1-3.
