Central Florida Jaguars to Announce Head Coach and Signing of Players

Lakeland, FL - The Central Florida Jaguars will be conducting a press conference to introduce the Head Coach and his staff for their 2016 inaugural season. The Central Florida Jaguars will also be doing the first public signing of players for their 2016 inaugural season.
There is also one additional tryout date listed below that will be held on December 5, 2015 in Orlando, Florida that will be hosting all out of town participants and all college athletes. This is the last of 5 tryouts conducted by the Central Florida Jaguars Organization, coaches and staff. All interested participants are asked to pre-register at a $50 cost online at www.centralfloridajaguars.com in advance which will guarantee your place during these tryouts. Walk Up registrations will be accepted at $60 on a first come first serve bases due to the overwhelming response as limited space is available.
Each tryout will be a one-day event with all participants competing to earn the opportunity to sign a professional contract with the Central Florida Jaguars. Players will be evaluated on combine exercises such as 40-yard dash, 20-yard short shuttle and 20-yard L-Drill. Player height and weight measurements will also be recorded. Following all testing, participants will take part in position pacific drills followed by competitive one on one drills. Registration will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.
The Jaguars are looking to fill its final few roster spots before heading into minicamp, which will take place in early December. Players selected will have the chance to compete for a roster spot while earning an invite to training camp which begins in January. Players are encouraged to dress accordingly (black shorts required) and bring the proper footwear for field turf and grass training. A mouth piece should be brought by those participating in the tryout camp and kickers are asked to bring their own kicking tees. This will be a non-contact event so no helmets or pads are needed.
