Cavalry FC Announces the Appointment of Jake Davis as Goalkeeper Coach

Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League has announced the departure of Goalkeeper Coach, Jordan Santiago after being with the club since the inaugural 2019 season. Calgary born, Santiago has contributed immensely to Cavalry FC since his arrival, mounting up to 112 professional matches and guiding Marco Carducci in obtaining two Goalkeeper of the Year awards. The club thank Jordan for all he has done for the club and wish him the best as he begins a new chapter.

Jake Davis has been appointed as Goalkeeper Coach for Cavalry FC, following coaching within the Houston Dynamo FC Academy. Davis brings immense experience to the club, having previously been the Goalkeeping Coach for the University of Virginia Women's Soccer Team, and both the Assistant Manager and Goalkeeping Coach of USL Championship side, Hartford Athletic.

Coming here was such an easy decision for me to make and I cannot wait to work with one of the most exciting goalkeeping units in the country and to get started with our goalkeepers. Cavalry FC host Atletico Ottawa on July 12 at 6:30pm MT on ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows, followed by Halifax Wanderers FC on July 15th at 2:00pm MT.
