Cannon Ballers Gear Blasts Across All 50 States

December 20, 2019 - South Atlantic League (SAL) - Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release

Kannapolis, N.C. - Just weeks after hitting the streets of Kannapolis and the internet, Cannon Ballers merchandise has been purchased from buyers in all 50 states. With Christmas looming less than a week away, the team will wind down its operation at the Pop-Up Store with special holiday hours before re-opening at a new location in the New Year.

The fan favorite at home and across the nation is the New Era fitted road cap. The blue hat has both a red bill and a red button on top, and features the daredevil Cannon Baller mid-flight. The home and alternate caps also resonate with fans. Altogether, the official on-field caps represent the three top selling items. The next two favorites are also basics: A bright-red t-shirt featuring the team's roundel (a circular logo), and a white shirt featuring the primary logo.

"I thought fans would love our logo, but it's been gratifying to see sales that prove they really do like it," said Cannon Ballers General Manager Matt Millward. "It's also been exciting to have so many local fans come into the store to shop, because we've gotten to answer a lot of questions about next season and get some great ideas."

New batches of merchandise have been arriving each week and continue to fly off the shelves on the internet and in-store. Thanks to the recent influx, even the youngest of fans can represent their hometown team - navy blue onesies featuring the primary logo are nearly sold out in sizes newborn to 24 months. Team jerseys are in stock just in time for last minute Christmas gift ideas.

The team Pop-Up Store, located at 101 West Avenue in downtown Kannapolis, is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 21st and Monday, December 23rd. On Christmas Eve, December 24th and Thursday, December 26th, fans can visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To shop online, visit
