Kelowna Rockets News Release

Two former Kelowna Rockets players were added to the Rockets Wall of Recognition for Outstanding Achievement over the summer.

Cal Foote and Dillon Dube were added to the wall by the Rockets mural artist Joey Tramer.

Both players plaques explain what got their image immortalized at Prospera Place.

Cal Foote's plaque reads: "Cal played three full seasons for Kelowna. After being drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning 14th overall in 2017, Cal was named the 23rd Captain in team history in his final WHL season. He led the Rockets to their 7th B.C. Division title. Cal won gold with Team Canada at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship."

Dillon Dube's plaque reads: "Dillon became the first Rocket to play for Canada in back to back World Junior Championships and first to Captain Team Canada. He won silver in 2017 and led Canada to gold in 2018. He was drafted 56th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2016 and was a member of the 2015 Rockets Memorial Cup team."

Dube and Foote become the 19th and 20th players to be added to the Wall of Recognition.
