DURHAM, NC - Led by back-to-back homers in game one and clutch hitting in game two, the Durham Bulls swept the Louisville Bats with doubleheader wins 6-4 and 4-1 Thursday night at the DBAP.

The continuation of the postponed middle frame of the three-game series resumed in the bottom of the fourth with the Bulls on top 3-0.

The bullpen allowed four runs on five hits. Andrew Kittredge (W, 1-0) earned his first victory of the season, tossing 3.0 innings allowing one run on one hit while fanning two. Ian Gibaut (S, 2) worked 1.1 innings clean to secure his second save.

In game two, the home team found themselves down 1-0 after a solo shot by Herrera in the first.

Durham erased the one-run deficit in the home-half of the frame, moving in front 4-1 on an RBI single by Joe McCarthy, an RBI groundout by Hazelbaker and a two-RBI single to left from Adam Moore.
