Bulldogs host Rampage and Moose this weekend

The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will play two home games this week before the AHL All-Star break. On Friday, January 26th at Copps Coliseum, Hamilton will battle the San Antonio Rampage (AHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes) at 7:30 p.m. The Bulldogs then take on their North Division rivals, the Manitoba Moose (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks), at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27th at Copps Coliseum.

Hamilton posted a 2-1-0-0 record in three games last week. The Bulldogs began the week with a 3-1 loss to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights on Tuesday, January 16th at Omaha Civic Auditorium. The 'Dogs returned home and won a pair of games against their North Division rivals, the Grand Rapids Griffins. On Friday, January 19th at Copps Coliseum, Hamilton edged Grand Rapids 2-1 and completed the weekend sweep with a 5-1 win on Saturday, January 20th.

With 52 points in 45 games this season, the Bulldogs currently sit in third place in the North Division standings, seven points behind the first-place Rochester Americans (59 points in 42 games), and one point behind the second-place Manitoba Moose (53 points in 45 games).
