January 17, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - Oshawa Generals News Release
Oshawa, ON- The Oshawa Generals announce forward Brett Harrison has been loaned to Koovee Ry of the Mestis Finnish League, in Tampere, Finland.
Harrison, the 17-year-old forward, has joined Koovee after numerous delays of the 2020-2021 OHL season. Last season, shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, Harrison suited up in 58 games, scored 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points.
Drafted 16th overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, Harrison is no stranger to big minutes and big results.
While he will be beginning his 2020-2021 season in Europe, Harrison has committed to rejoining the Generals in time to quarantine before the start of OHL Training camps, when they are announced.
We wish Brett the best of luck in Finland.
