Bradenton, FL - The Marauders (9-5) fell for the fifth time in six games and Clearwater Threshers (10-4) posted a 3-2 win at LECOM Park on Wednesday night. 2B Alfredo Reyes attempted to score on a pitch to the backstop with two outs in the ninth, but a friendly carom back to catcher Deivi Grullon resulted in a tag out at the plate to end the game. RHP Mitch Keller struck out four and did not walk a batter over six innings. Keller surrendered a solo home run to Jan Her- nandez on the first pitch of the third inning. Hernandez later singled and came around to score against Keller to break a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning. Reyes finished 4-for-4. DH Mitchell Tolman had two hits and an RBI. Defensively Bradenton turned three double playes in defeat. UP NEXT: The Marauders play game four of the series against Clearwater...First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m....
