
Bootcheck Returns to Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (July 8, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has outrighted right-handed pitcher Chris Bootcheck to triple-A Salt Lake.
Bootcheck, 29, recently recovering from a stint on the disabled list with a strained right forearm, joins the Bees for the first time since the 2006 season. He has appeared in 10 games for the Angels in 2008, owning a 0-1 record with a 10.13 ERA. The La Porte, Ind. native was originally selected by the Angels in the first round of the 2000 draft.
The Salt Lake Bees continue an 11-game home stand tonight against the Tacoma Rainiers at 7:05 p.m. at Franklin Covey Field. For more information about Bees season tickets, which start as low as $7 per game, please call 325-BEES.
